Discipleship Groups

D-groups seek to help others come alive to the wonder of the gospel through a more intentional time of study, fellowship, prayer, accountability, and missional living. These single sex groups offer opportunities to connect on a deeper level than what may be experienced in a K-group alone. There is a high commitment in these groups as we covenant with one another. Groups will meet at various times during the week from September/October through April/May - typically following the local school calendar. These groups are open to join twice a year - 

either in the Fall when groups begin, or in January after the Christmas break.

K-Groups

K-Groups are Creekstone's community groups. The "K" in K-Group stands for the Greek word "koinonia," which means fellowship or oneness. 

These groups are made up of 10-14 people who meet in homes to pursue discipleship in the context of authentic community, a relational atmosphere of grace where it is safe to be real. K-Groups are the heart of our "pastoral care" ministry, where everyone in the church takes on the calling to love, serve, counsel and pray for one another. 

If we think of the church as a body, when we gather on Sundays, the entire body is represented. However, K-Groups serve as the organs of the church. Since the body is only as healthy as the organs, we prioritize "body life" in the context of K-Groups as a primary means of cultivating spiritual health individually as well as congregationally.

The K-Group season runs from August/September through May of each year.

Dahlonega (Long Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 5:30-7:30p

North Dahlonega (Wolfgang Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 5:30-7:30p

South Dahlonega (Caston/Good Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 5:30-7p

Downtown Dahlonega (Steed/Luke Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week for lunch

East Dawsonville (Burgess Group) - Meets Fridays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 6:30-8:30p

North Dawsonville (Bacon/Sussman Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 5:30-7p

Northeast Dawsonville (Jones Group) - Meets Sundays beginning the 2nd full week of the month & 4th week from 5:30-7:30p
